InterfaceManager IM/3 v3.0
Version 3.0 of InterfaceManager IM/3, the comfortable EAI solution for SAP-centered system landscapes, is now available. The latest version includes many functional enhancements which allow for an even more flexible use of IM/3:
Highlights of IM/3 Version 3.0:
Object Monitoring
In addition to the chronological monitoring of complex process chains, a detailed examination on the data object level is now possible, too. This gives customers enhanced control over data exchanges between SAP and non-SAP systems. User-independent selection and analysis of objects is possible.
SAP XI Connectivity
IM/3 now features a standardized adapter for the SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI), allowing for the integration even of non-XI-capable front-end applications with modern SAP NetWeaver architectures. Here, IM/3’s reliable monitoring and its comfortable error correction capabilities will of course remain unchanged.
B2B Adapter
As an alternative to a direct ALE connection, applications can now exchange its IDOCs with SAP through IM/3. The great advantage of this solution is that in addition to the technological integration, IM/3 maps the business process as well while including a comfortable correction interface. Through this, a consistent synchronization of processes on both sides is guaranteed.
FTP Port
The FTP port ensures uninterrupted communication of the file transfer between application servers. Consequently, the file transfer is included in monitoring activities and process control.
Online Connection
The next generation of IM/3 Xchange allows for an even more detailed monitoring of subprocesses and offers various forms of escalation in the event of an error.
UNICODE
As of version 3.0, IM/3 can be deployed in multi-language SAP system landscapes.
