Walldorf, August 18, 2010 – REALTECH AG, a SAP consultancy and a provider of software solutions for enterprise-wide IT management, was ranked by Lünendonk GmbH among the top ten revenue-generating small to medium-sized providers of IT consulting and system integration services in Germany.
Lünendonk GmbH publishes annual rankings of the leading IT providers in the German market. It has now published its third list of the largest small to medium-sized IT consulting and system integration firms. The list includes the top ten revenue-generating companies that meet the following criteria:
- more than 60 percent of revenues are generated through IT consulting services, the introduction of standard software, software development, and system integration;
- the company is headquartered in Germany;
- it has revenues of less than €500 million.
The survey covered a total of 140 companies. Subsidiaries of large international groups that are active in the consulting industry were not considered in the ranking.
REALTECH AG maintains sound economic development
Despite an international financial and economic crisis that hit the IT industry with a 7.1 percent loss in revenues, REALTECH was still able to end the year 2009 on a positive note. The company generated revenues of €67.1 million, with €25.4 million generated in the German IT market alone.
Its focus on SAP solutions has allowed REALTECH to impress customers with an integrated consulting approach in 2009 as well. REALTECH was able to compensate for slumping demand in several industries such as the automotive sector by adopting a more diversified approach to servicing other industries.
