Waldorf, January 26, 2010 – REALTECH AG, a provider of software solutions for enterprise-wide IT management and a SAP consultancy company, has teamed up with Swiss IT service provider GIA Informatik AG to promote the sales of REALTECH's solutions theGuard! Service Management Center and theGuard! InterfaceManager in Switzerland.
REALTECH's service management solution will replace GIA Informatik's existing service and support solution. GIA Informatik's decision in favor of REALTECH's products was based on the many years of close cooperation between REALTECH and SAP. Other than its competitors, REALTECH was able to effectively demonstrate the feasibility of the plan during the proof of concept phase
theGuard! InterfaceManager completes GIA's existing offer with integrations into SAP's timekeeping system (SAP Cross-Application Time Sheet, CATS) and SAP Solution Manager. This allows users to start tracking the time spent resolving individual requests directly from the corresponding service request (ticket). REALTECH's new solution can also be used to initiate service requests that need to be submitted directly to SAP through SAP Solution Manager.
The introduction of the multi-client service management solution theGuard! enables GIA Informatik to further streamline the handling of support requests as all relevant information will from now on be centrally stored in a single system. Well-defined processes will enable GIA to further improve its high standards of service delivery without creating additional strain on its staff.
This partnership benefits both companies. It gives REALTECH better and more effective access to the Swiss market. At the same time, GIA Informatik's Swiss data centers will be available to REALTECH for hosting purposes. REALTECH's product portfolio affords GIA Informatik the opportunity to appeal to SAP customers and to strengthen its position in the infrastructure management market.
