• Consolidated revenue up by 12%

Walldorf, October 20, 2008. REALTECH AG's consolidated revenue increased in the first nine months of 2008 by 12% to EUR 51.3 million (first nine months of 2007: EUR 45.7 million) with software revenues growing by 22% to EUR 11.5 million (EUR 9.4 million) and consulting business increasing by 10% to EUR 39.8 million (EUR 36.2 million).
REALTECH Group's operating income improved substantially once again: earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 21% to EUR 5.3 million (EUR 4.3 million) and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) by 24% to EUR 4.5 million (EUR 3.7 million).
Net income increased by 63% to EUR 3.4 million (EUR 2.1 million), while earnings per share were EUR 0.65 (EUR 0.40). As a result of the dividend distributed in the 2nd quarter, net cash and cash equivalents at the end of September 2008 stood at EUR 26.8 million, compared to EUR 28.1 million at the end of 2007. The company recorded a cash flow of EUR 1.7 million (EUR 2.1 million).
3rd quarter 2008:
Group revenue is up 5% on the previous year’s figure, amounting to EUR 16.7 million (Q3/2007: EUR 16.0 million). Software revenues were up by 13% to EUR 4.0 million (EUR 3.6 million). Consulting revenue slightly increased by 2% to EUR 12.7 million (EUR 12.5 million).
EBITDA increased by 4% to EUR 1.7 million (EUR 1.6 million) and EBIT by 4% to EUR 1.4 million (EUR 1.3 million). Net income rose by 54% to EUR 1.3 million (EUR 0.9 million) leading to earnings per share of EUR 0.25 (EUR 0.16).
