REALTECH: Provisional 9-month and quarterly figures for 2005
Walldorf, October 25, 2005. REALTECH AG's Group revenue increased in the 1st nine months of 2005 by 6% to EUR 36.1 million (1st nine months of 2004: EUR 34.0 million). Software revenue increased by 7% to EUR 7.2 million (EUR 6.7 million), while consulting revenue increased by 6% to EUR 28.9 million (EUR 27.3 million).
EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) improved significantly, reaching EUR 1.5 million (EUR 0.7 million), while EBIT rose to EUR 0.4 million (minus EUR 0.9 million). Net income increased to EUR 0.5 million (minus EUR 1.2 million), while earnings per share increased to EUR 0.10 (minus EUR 0.24). At the end of September 2005, net cash and cash equivalents were EUR 25.4 million, compared to EUR 21.4 million at the end of 2004 and EUR 22.2 million at the end of last September. The company has achieved a cash flow of EUR 3.7 million (EUR 2.9 million). 3rd quarter of 2005: Group revenue is up 7% on the previous year's figure, amounting to EUR 12.0 million (Q3/2004: EUR 11.2). This includes no change in software revenue, which remained at EUR 2.3 million (EUR 2.3 million), and a 9% increase in the area of consulting to EUR 9.6 million (EUR 8.9 million). Clear increases were recorded for EBITDA, which reached EUR 0.9 million (EUR 0.4 million), and EBIT, which amounted to EUR 0.6 million (minus EUR 0.1 million). Net income rose to EUR 0.6 million (minus EUR 0.4 million), giving rise to earnings per share of EUR 0.11 (minus EUR 0.09).
